The Universal Mary Sue Litmus test! Take it for your OC. It's pretty fun--and I really want to know if any of my characters are considered a Mary Sue. And I'm bored... Hmm...my results. http://www.springhole.net/quizzes/marysue.htmLouanne Stewart: (26)22-29 Some definite Sue-like tendancies here. A little polishing might be in order to put original fiction and RPG characters back into the balance, especially if Kirking is involved. Fanfiction characters should probably have some work done. Oops...but not a complete Sue! Jacob Gellar: (16)0-16 Points Most likely Not-Sue. Characters at this level could probably take a little spicing up without hurting them any. That's a little better. Ian Sheckler (uh oh. Even before I take the test, I know this might be bad...): (12)0-16 Points Most likely Not-Sue. Characters at this level could probably take a little spicing up without hurting them any. I AM SHOCKED. Louanne is more of a Sue than Ian? IAN? Still overcoming from shock. Monique Sheckler: (10)0-16 Points Most likely Not-Sue. Characters at this level could probably take a little spicing up without hurting them any. She is two points innocent-er than her father. YAY! Leah Gellar: (1 point. I SWEAR.)0-16 Points Most likely Not-Sue. Characters at this level could probably take a little spicing up without hurting them any. 1 point?! I thought they'll be all over her just because she has a musical talent. Shane Luck: (7 points)0-16 Points Most likely Not-Sue. Characters at this level could probably take a little spicing up without hurting them any. Shane a Sue? He's barely a character. ____ Okay, anyone gonna do the d*mn test while I take a break? I got like a zillion characters. ... Still can't believe Ian is not a Sue.

Really?
Whoa.
We know how to make our characters un-Suey.
Except for Louanne. I'll fixed a bit of her past so she's set to go.

Max (65) ;.;
50+ Kill it dead. Or make sure you read the instructions properly (some people don't do this, which causes freakishly high scores) and take the test again.
really? maybe I answered some questions wrong?

I didn't read the instructions properly at first.
Max is 65?
...why?
I'll do the test as the way I see Max.
I got Max (32).
30+ Fanfiction authors beware - Mary's on the loose. There's still a chance you can save this character with some TLC, though. Role-players and original fiction characters, you should also strongly consider giving your character a workover.
Oops.
Maybe Cody should try or something...
Another character! Yay!
France Conner (6):
0-16 Points Most likely Not-Sue. Characters at this level could probably take a little spicing up without hurting them any.
I don't want to spice France up! He had my appearance.

I got 12 on Max. He's not a Mary Sue Jay. [] Is your character (Normal/Ghost/Etc.) Perfect (100 Points. Joss is exceptional.) [x] Does your character (Human/Ghost/Etc.) fit in with the story well, no matter what their phyiscal appearance is, who they based off of, or etc. (Don't add any points) 0 Points= Non-Mary Sue 100= Mary Sue Mary Sue= A character that is perfect in every way and messes up the story. Expectional Mary Sue= A character that is perfect in every way, but doesn't mess up the story/plot. There you go! LOL!

Yeah, Jay!
I feel like a bad RPer too. I mean, Louanne is leaning towards a Mary Sue... even if she isn't one. And I don't like being even close.

Yeah! And Max isn't really a Sue. He doesn't steal the spotlight. My characters do.

Maxy Sue. lol.
I've seen Sue's before...trust me.
My Immortal's Ebony or I'm Not Okay's Eternity or Newborn's Hayley...those are Mary Sues and they're sure as hell bringing shame to the Goth name. And them mentioning punks really makes me tick.
