Okay, so a long time ago when I was in my brooding stage, I made a character that would be very powerful and evil, but with a bored, stoic look on his face. I put the story on deviantArt recently, after remembering about him, and decided to put it here, since no one seemed to notice it. It's gonna be a bit different than the dA version, but not too different. I'll shut up now, and put the story in!!!

There are many, many stories of people dying, and even worse, going mad whose stories are 'connected' by one thing. No matter what it is, what they claimed happened to them, those who are alive and retained most or some of their sanity. They all say, it was Dante Fear's work.

Now, no one has prove of who or what Dante Fear is, or even if he exists. But one thing is for sure, those who met him, met a serious condition.

The ones who went completely mad describe him in different ways, varying in small details and such. A few of the most common ones describing him as a man, with no face, a messy and greasy hair style, and a completely white suit, while another is that he is actually a woman, with short, crisp hair, in a white dress, smoking a pipe, and wearing a sunhat, though a third states that he is a devil, dressed in red, having some hair protruding like horns, and a sinister smile upon his face.

But the ones who kept enough sanity to describe him accurately, say he wears a strange suit, with one half being black with thin, white strips going down, while the other half is white with think, black stripes going across, with it being reversed on his pants. He wears a checkered tie, a shirt with one black side and one white side, with his left shoe being white, and his right shoe being black. His hair is black in the front, and white in the back. With a small cigarette hanging to the side of his mouth, he wears a bored, stoic look on his face.

They'd say that they met Dante Fear in their dreams, in a completely white room, devoid of anything else but two chairs far apart from each other, with one occupied by Dante Fear himself. He'd offer a seat to them, and they will take his offer. When they did, the room would change, matching a mix-matched scene of places that they have been to before and loved, with him saying plainly, "is the inside of their heart." He would tell them that if they strike a deal with him, he will make what they want happen in the real world, as long as they keep their end of it. In excitement, they would tell him their greatest wishes and desires, rather it be love, wealth, or power. Then they would sign a contract, making them bound to their word.

Within a few days of meeting him for the first time, their wishes would come true, making them happy beyond their heart's content. They would enjoy this for an incredible long time, some enjoying it for 10 years, others 20, but most were at least 5. By then, they would have forgotten all about Dante Fear, and would keep their new lives running, until their second visit with him.

Again, they would encounter Dante in his white room, with its two chairs. He'd ask them to sit down in the chairs once more, and like the time before, the room would change into what their inside of their heart, but unlike before, their heart's inside would be totally destroyed, with everything in ruins. Dante would then reveal that he had 'tricked' them, explaining that making people extremely happy would increase the power and edibility of their souls, as he is a Reaper, a being who was once a normal human, but when they died, they wanted to survive and live, and thus ate others souls to keep their existence. But he would give them a fighting chance, saying that if they can survive 10 minutes fighting him, that he would let them go. This would prompt them into taking it, thinking it would be easy, be it that they were smarter, faster, or stronger. They, were DEAD wrong.

Dante would strike far too fast for anyone to dodge or block in time, and too strong for anyone to stay standing, and would outwit every single person he fought, while having a bored, emotionless, look in his deep, gray, eyes. But there was a worse thing he did, oh yes, it was the worse thing anyone could ever do to a near dead person: He'd let them live, with whatever sanity they have left in them.

Why does he do this? The ones with their sanity mostly intact would infer that he did it so that his victims can spread his name far and wide, while others would think he wants to see how long it will take for their happiness to be devastated, and many more would say that he is bidding his time, waiting for the right opportunity to strike, once more..........
