MaxR's Climb
Max's parents were having a loud arugment. He was just born and now they were having a disagreement. He looked around, curious of what's going on.
"It's over! I'm going!" Dad said, then he left.
I can almost see it....
That dream I'm dreaming,
But...there's a voice inside of my head saying...
You'll never reach it.
Every step I'm taking...
Every move I make feels...
Lost with no direction....
My faith is shaking...
Max walking in the elementary school hallways, people picking on him, and making fun of his weight.
But I...I've gotta keep tryin...
Gotta keep my head held high...
There's always gonna be another moutain
I'm always gonna make it move...
Always gonna be an uphill battle...
Sometimes I'm gonna have to lose...
Aint about how fast I get there...
Aint about what's waiting on the other side....
It's the climb....
---Years later..In the hospital.--
Max's Grandmother was dying in the hospital...His mother stroking his hair, trying to convince him it's gonna be ok. But nothing's gonna be ok. A voice said inside of his head.
The struggles I'm facing
The chances I'm taking
Sometimes might knock me down
But no, I'm not breaking..
--Back at school.---
Kids were beating on him, telling him that he was worthless, the voice inside agreeing with him.
And I may not know it..
But these's are the moment's where...
I'm gonna remember most yeah..
Just gotta keep going..
and I....I gotta be strong...
Just keep pushing on...

His life was getting better, he was making some friends, and was able to stand up for himself. The voice was trying to break him down, but all it did was make him stronger.
